![]() It is the story of a book editor who spends one last summer on Fire Island. Q: Are you writing a new novel now? If so, can you spoil a little bit about it?Ī: My next novel, On Fire Island, will be out in May 2023. Q: Does Hollywood have the rights to any of your novels? I loved wearing the screenwriter and producer hats, but the author hat is by far my favorite. I also produced a television show called The Divorce Party. ![]() I have written both full-length films and Television pilots. and film and event production? Do you write screenplays for shows and movies? Are you a producer?Ī: I started out my writing career as a screenwriter and was lucky to have sold my very first script to Miramax. Q: On your amazon page it said you were involved in TV. I felt so honored that people, other than my friends and family, were going to read it. Q: Out of all the books you have written so far, if you had to choose one which one was your favorite one to write?Ī: My first, Nine Women, One Dress. Rejection can be discouraging, but if you give up you will never become a published author. Q: What advice do you have for anyone wanting to be a writer?Ī: Don’t give up!
